Total Retail Sales of Consumer Goods refers to the sum of retail sales of consumer goods to urban and rural residents and social groups by the establishments in wholesale, retail, catering and other industries of various ownerships. ª¥
Total Purchases of Commodities refers to the total value of purchases of commodities by the establishments from other establishments or individuals (including direct import from abroad) for the purpose of reselling, either with or without further processing of the commodities purchased. The total purchases include agricultural and industrial products purchased from producers, commodities purchased from wholesale and retail trades,commodities directly imported from abroad,commodities purchased from other units.This indicator issued to show the total value of purchases of commodities by wholesale and retail establishments from domestic and overseas markets. ª¥
Total Sales of Commodities refers to value of commodities sold by the establishments to other establishments and individuals (including added-value tax). Total sales of commodities include retail sales and wholesale sales. Retail sales include value sold to individuals and social groups. Wholesale sales include value sold to productive units and exports value. The indicator reflects the sum of commodities sold in domestic markets and export commodities by retail and wholesale track.ª¥
Business Income refers to income of enterprises through selling commodities or providing services. It includes income of main business and other business income. Income of main business refers to income of main business activities. Other business income refers to income of other business or attached business not including main business. ª¥
Tax and Extra Charges on Sales of Commodity refers to tax of sold goods supported by wholesale and retail enterprises,tax and extra charges supported by catering enterprises, including business tax,tax on city maintenance,export tax and extra charges for education.ª¥
Classified Standard of Wholesale, Retail Trade and Catering Enterprises above Designated Size Wholesale enterprises refer to enterprises with sales over 20 million yuan, with laborers over 20 persons. Retail enterprises refer to enterprises with sales over 5 million yuan, with laborers over 60 persons. Catering enterprises refer to enterprises with sales over 2 million yuan, with laborers over 40 persons.
